SNOWPOCALYPSE!!!
Just when we thought Old Man Winter had finally packed his bags and left, today we got a not so subtle reminder that we are definitely still in the middle of winter. Despite our van being almost stuck on our way to our usual spot, we got all the dogs to an amazing Snowfest! Oh what fun we all had playing in the snow! Our favourite game was undoubtedly throwing and catching snow balls. Sumo, Marlo and Rufus were champions at getting facefuls of snow. Despite the cold, Sumo and his new friend Marlo spent most of the time in the freezing streams and puddles. Is it possible they might be part penguin? On the same topic, we think Belle might be half-beaver: no twig was left unchewed in her wake. While everyone else was busy catching snowballs, there was a constant game of tag between Kira, Cabo, Mollie and Taya. Those four dogs are so fast, they make it very hard for Rufus to try and kiss his new crush Kira. Speaking of crushes, there was a little spark between Taya and Brodie today, who couldn't keep their paws off each other. Marley made her presence known at anyone who wasn't looking at her digging in the snow for hidden treasures. In the snowstorm, it was very hard to tell the difference between Teddy and a real Grizzly bear, but everyone knows he couldn't hurt a fly. All in all, it was a pretty terrific day and we all had fun playing in the snow. It really is amazing how the landscape changes so dramatically with a snowfall, every tree and rock covered with white.
